Excellent, near-mint apart from evidence of minor dent repair on 1st slide. No other repair history. No plating wear or significant scratches. Includes Yamaha double backpack case with shoulder strap, user guide, and polishing cloth. Mouthpiece not included.
Playing characteristics
An incredible player. Has the same rich, powerful, medium-bright tone and impeccable intonation as the New York Bb (2nd or 3rd generation). Has wider slots than any other Artist Model, but enough resistance to lean against (a bit more resistance than Yamaha's jazz trumpets). Produces clear, effortless articulations even in fast passages.
